In this edition of BP2021 we have the collaboration of the Luis de Camoens Chair, created by the Areces Foundation at the Carlos III University of Madrid to promote academic and cultural cooperation between Spain and Portugal and the dissemination of Portuguese culture in Spain.

 

It will do so by awarding two awards to the best papers by researchers under the age of 35 presented at the congress. On this occasion, a award will be awarded for the best oral communication and another for the best poster communication.

“SPANISH SOCIETY OF PLANT BIOLOGY” AWARD TO THE BEST SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATIONS PRESENTED BY DOCTORAL STUDENTS

Description
The Spanish Society of Plant Biology offers two awards for the best oral and poster communications, presented by doctoral students, of 200 € and 150 €, respectively.

 

Eligibility criteria
a) Candidates must be doctoral students.
b) The Communications presented by the candidates must meet the following requirements:

• The presenting (first) author of the communication should be the candidate for the award.

 

How to apply
Candidates must indicate their interest to concur for the “Spanish Society of Plant Biology” awards.

Jury and qualification criteria
• The Jury will be composed of 5 scientists selected by the SEBPs Board of Directors.
• The Jury will evaluate the poster communications during poster views. Candidates should be present in front of the poster during the evaluation.
• The Jury will assess the quality of the Communications and rank them. The communication with the highest rank will be the winner.
• The Jury decision will be unappealable.
• The Jury decision will be made public during the Closing Ceremony, and the winner must be present to receive the award news.
• Candidates participation implies full acceptance of the bases of the Award Call
